Scarborough harbour

Scarborough Castle Peasholm Park

Enjoy the harbour and surrounding area.   Come for a coastal cruise and view the seals in their natural environment at Casty Rocks, just 4 miles south of Scarborough Harbour. Duration of the cruise, including stop, is approx 1 hour 45 minutes.

Scarborough castle conceals over 3000 years of turbulent history dating right back to the bronze age. It is said that King Richard III enjoyed the view from the battlements so much so that he still walks them today! Audio tape tours are available.

Take a boat trip around the beautiful surroundings of Peasholm Park. There are plenty of vessels to choose from, including 3 - 5 seater swan pedaloes, rowing boats or Canadian style canoes, each boat is let for 30 minutes.

Yorkshire Moors

Filey Whitby

The North York Moors National Park is one of the finest landscapes in Britain. Miles of stunning heather, towering sea cliffs, secluded beaches and grassy dales give it a character all of its own.  Discover wildlife, historic buildings, archaeology, ancient woodlands and picturesque villages.

Filey is a traditional Victorian English seaside town with a friendly atmosphere. The five-mile stretch of award winning sandy beach is protected by the rocky grandeur of Filey Brigg, a haven for a variety of birds and wildlife.

Whitby is dominated by the cliff-top ruins of a beautiful 13th century Abbey. This quaint maritime town, with its old cobbled streets, picturesque houses and sandy blue flag beach, is set among fine stretches of coast with spectacular cliffs and bays
